Easter 2010

Easter this year was rather unorthodox for our family. Fiona came down with pneumonia last week, so we've been cooped up in the house for the past 5 days. We really wanted to attend church this Sunday, as our church has moved from a junior high school (after 13 years!) to a warehouse. Long story... Anyway, we were able to watch the service online, which was something, at least.

My sister gave me the bright idea of coloring eggs with Fiona this weekend. As you can see, there was much double-dipping between colors, and the child seemed to have more fun dropping, cracking, and peeling the eggs than actually dyeing the stupid things. All in all, it was a fun event and a hilarious memory.

More photos to come....

Here in Greece they have the tradition of dying the eggs red and then you and someone else hit them together, whichever egg survives the hit has good luck for the next year. I'm sure Fiona would enjoy this tradition, Nik broke many eggs.
