Happy May! Just a brief update and a few photos about April, which passed oh-so- quickly.
Easter fell on a sunny, and mostly beautiful weekend. Her two little neighbor friends came over for egg coloring on Saturday, and on Sunday we went to church followed by Fiona's very first Easter egg hunt. Someday, when I figure out how to upload Youtube videos onto this blog, you will get to enjoy a pretty funny egg hunting video. :)
Grandma Green sent Fiona her very first Easter basket full of chocolate. Fiona told me for the following week how much she likes chocolate cake. Apparently, anything in chocolate form is considered cake to a two year old who hasn't eaten many sweets in her two years.
Last week, we enjoyed a short trip to Newport - my favorite coastal town. Although Fiona was pretty sick for most of it, she was still able to spend a little time playing on the beach, and learning how to bark at sea lions on the docks.
Today it's 70 degrees and sunny out. Bryan and I replaced our back yard pond with a small vegetable garden, and we already have a few greens sprouting. I am so ready for summer!!!
